We’re building a flock of robots to share messages of peace on Twitter on International Peace Day 2017
Our aim is to reach as many people as possible and get #peaceday trending on Twitter. Want to join us to build peace with robots?
For International Peace Day 2017 21 September 2017, the Positive Voices Group of students at Marsden Heights Community College and international peacebuilding organisation International Alert, London are partnering to build a flock of robots to share messages of peace on Twitter. Our aim is to reach as many people as possible with peace messages, and get #peaceday trending on Twitter in as many places as possible.
On Saturday 23 September students at Marsden Heights Community College invite everyone interested in tackling Hate Speech to join us in linking with a day long Peacehack hackathon that is happening at the House of Vans Headquarters in London looking at how bots can be used to spread the message of peace. Peacehackers will convene to discuss the ethics around using this and other technologies, and engage the public in creating their own bots to amplify the message of peace.
