NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a casual vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for Marsden West Ward of Nelson Town Council.

If by 7 July, 2023 (14 days after the date of this notice, excluding Dies Non) a request for an election to fill the vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer at the address below by TEN electors for the Parish, then an election will be held within sixty days of the date of this notice.

If a request for an election is not received then the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
