NOTICE OF VACANCY IN OFFICE OF COUNCILLOR BRADLEY WARD OF NELSON TOWN COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that due to the non attendance of Mohammad Kamran Butt, a vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Bradley Ward of Nelson Town Council.

If by 12 January, 2026 (14 days after the date of this notice, excluding Dies Non) a request for an election to fill the vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer at the address below by TEN electors for the Bradley Ward of Nelson Town Council, then an election will be held within sixty days of the date of this notice.

If a request for an election is not received then the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
